In winter Val di Fassa allows you to give vent to your passions for winter sports : kilometres of slopes for mountain and cross-country-skiing, slopes for snowboard lovers and you can even ski at night! Unpolluted nature is the backdrop to all your excursions on foot or with mountain shoes, free skiing and Nordic Walking. There are plenty of opportunities for climbing on the ice and practicing extreme sports.

Lovers of skiing and snowboarding will be overwhelmed by the Sellaronda, the Tour of the Four Passes , a ski circuit around the massif of the Sella. The tour can be made in either direction and crosses the valleys of Fassa, Gardena, Badia and Arabba before climbing above 2 thousand metres to go through the Pordoi, Sella, Gardena and Passolongo passes, offering a breathtaking landscape of the Dolomite mountains. In winter the Azienda per il Turismo della Val di Fassa offers visitors to its valley a calendar rich in initiatives with something for everyone: lovers of winter sports and the mountain, enthusiasts of good cuisine and traditions. All surrounded by important cultural, musical and sports events, such as the Marcialonga and the Sellaronda Skimarathon. Attention is also paid to children, who can play and do sport surrounded by nature.
